On a Southern California summer afternoon, attic air can climb well past 130°F. That heat radiates straight down through the ceiling into the rooms you live in.

Old insulation stops working
Many older homes have only a few inches of insulation, often flattened, patchy or damaged. A thin layer lets heat pour through, so your AC runs longer and your bill climbs.

We blow in a thick, even blanket
Our crew parks the insulation truck outside, runs a hose up into the attic and blows loose-fill insulation across the whole attic floor, filling gaps around joists, wiring and corners to the recommended depth.

DACMO is a local program for qualifying residential SCE customers. SCE contracted Global Energy Services to design and run it. These are the quickest ways to check where you stand.
Are you an SCE residential customer?
The program serves Southern California Edison residential customers. Have a recent SCE bill handy when you apply.
Check your CARE / FERA status
Households enrolled in SCE's CARE or FERA bill-discount programs are often a strong fit. Look up your enrollment status with SCE.

Switch to LEDs
LED bulbs use a fraction of the energy of old bulbs and give off far less heat.
Stop the drafts
Weatherstrip doors and caulk gaps around windows to keep cool air in.
